ORANGE COUNTRY IVF & IUI ACUPUNCTURE COORDINATED WITH YOUR FERTILITY PROTOCOL
You're Investing in Fertility Treatment - Your Body Deserves to Be Ready
You're preparing for IVF or IUI, whether it's your first cycle or another attempt after previous rounds didn't work. SoCal Family Acupuncture supports women who want to optimize their body's response to treatment, without leaving results to chance and without hoping medications alone will be enough.
You've made the decision to move forward with IVF or IUI.
The medications are costly, the monitoring appointments are constant, and the emotional weight is exhausting. How your body responds to the protocol matters just as much as the protocol itself.
Your doctor can control the medications, the timing, the procedures. But they can't control how your body responds.
Poor response to meds means cancelled cycles. Thin or suboptimal lining means delayed transfers or failed IUIs. Poor egg quality means fewer viable embryos or unsuccessful fertilization. And each failed cycle costs money, time, and emotional energy you don't have to spare.
Your clinic appointments are quick - monitoring ultrasounds, medication adjustments, retrieval, transfer.
But between those appointments?
You're on your own, hoping your body is responding the way it should, wondering if your lining will thicken enough, if your follicles will develop properly, if this cycle will actually work.
What If Your Body Was Better Prepared?
Imagine going into your IVF cycle knowing your body is optimized, not just medicated. Your uterine lining is building properly. Your follicles are responding to stimulation. Your body is primed to support implantation.
What if you could:
✓ Improve how your body responds to fertility medications
✓ Increase the number and quality of eggs retrieved
✓ Build a thicker, more receptive uterine lining
✓ Support fertilization and implantation
✓ Reduce the stress and side effects of the process
Research proves acupuncture improves IVF outcomes. A comprehensive analysis of 23 studies with over 5,500 women found that acupuncture performed during ovarian stimulation increased clinical pregnancy rates by 75%.*
The same principles apply to IUI cycles. Acupuncture increases blood flow to your reproductive organs, helps your body respond better to medications (if you're using them), and creates a more receptive environment for conception.
For 30+ years, we've worked alongside fertility clinics, helping women get better results from their IVF and IUI cycles through coordinated acupuncture care.

IVF/IUI Acupuncture That Works With Your Medical Protocol
Our IVF/IUI Acupuncture Support program coordinates with your REI's protocol and timeline to optimize your body at every stage - from preparation through early pregnancy.
We address what medications alone can't: blood flow to your reproductive organs, your body's stress response, inflammation that affects implantation, and the overall environment your embryo needs to thrive.
Starting IVF Soon? It's Not Too Late.
Many women contact us just days before their cycle starts, thinking they've missed their chance to benefit from acupuncture. You haven't. While we see the best results when patients do all three phases (preparation, active cycle, and early pregnancy support), you'll still get full benefits of active cycle support even if you skip the preparation phase. You just won't have had time to optimize egg quality beforehand, but we can still support your body's response to medications, uterine receptivity, and implantation.
Our 3-Part Support
We recommend starting at Part 1, the Preparation phase, for the best results. However, you will get results regardless where you are in your journey. We will adjust the treatments to help you get the best results wherever you are in your journey.
-
This includes improving egg quality, improving uterine environment, regulating baseline hormone levels, and reducing inflammation. The better prepared your body is, the better it responds to your protocol - and the fewer cycles you may need.
Part 1: Preparation
(Recommended 2-3 Months Before Your Cycle)
Part 2: Active Cycle Support
-
For IVF:
Stimulation Phase: Support follicle growth, egg quality, and medication response
Retrieval: Optimize egg maturation and strength
Transfer Preparation: Build uterine lining, improve receptivity, enhance uterine environment
Post-Transfer: Support implantation and early embryo development
For IUI:
Stimulation Phase (if using meds): Support follicle development and medication response
Pre-IUI: Optimize ovulation and uterine environment and receptivity
Post-IUI: Support implantation during the two-week wait
Part 3: Early Pregnancy Support
-
We continue treatments to support healthy fetal growth and development, prevent complications, and ensure healthy progesterone levels as the placenta takes over progesterone production

Real Results from Women Going Through IVF
The Stakes Are High
IVF costs $20-30K per cycle. IUI costs $500-2,000 per attempt.
But you already know the real cost: months of your life on hold. The strain on you and your partner. The isolation. The hope that maybe this time will be different.
Failed cycles cost more than money. They cost time you don't get back.
You could go through treatment hoping your body cooperates. Or you could prepare it. Optimize how it responds, improve egg quality, and build the environment needed for conception.
Either way, at least you'll know you didn't leave it to chance.

What Happened When These Families Prepared With Acupuncture
"After 7 rounds of IVF retrieval with poor results, my second retrieval with Dr. Lee's support gave me the highest embryo grades I'd ever received."
The difference in egg and embryo quality was dramatic. Both the number of blastocysts and the quality increased significantly. I wish I had found Dr. Lee before my first seven rounds.
— Former Patient
"After being told natural was impossible and IVF was my only option, I got pregnant naturally while preparing for IVF."
Dr. Lee prepared my body for IVF, but my body responded so well that I conceived on my own during the prep phase. I'm so grateful I didn't jump straight into IVF without addressing what my body actually needed.

Common Questions About IVF + IUI Acupuncture Support
-
Ideally 2-3 months before your cycle to optimize egg quality. But you can start during stim, before transfer, or even after transfer for implantation support.
-
It’s not too late. While best results come from completing all three phases, you'll still get full benefits of whichever phase you're in. Starting mid-stim? You'll get full active cycle support for follicle development, medication response, and uterine preparation. Starting before transfer? Full support for receptivity and implantation. You just skip the preparation phase.
-
No. Acupuncture works with your protocol, not against it. We coordinate timing with your clinic and adjust treatments based on your medication schedule.
-
Most REIs are supportive of acupuncture alongside IVF. We're happy to communicate with your clinic if needed.
-
It depends on your phase. During preparation, typically weekly. During stim or transfer, it is highly dependent on your doctor’s protocol and your response. Anywhere from 1-3 times a week during an active stim or transfer cycleDuring early pregnancy, weekly.
-
We adjust. If your cycle is cancelled due to poor response, we help you finish the cycle naturally, either help you ovulate for a cancelled stim or try naturally for a cancelled transfer (depending on the protocol). Then we shift to either supporting pregnancy or preparation mode for your next attempt.
-
Yes. FET preparation is one of our specialties - building optimal uterine environment and receptivity for transfer.
-
No, we don't accept insurance. This allows us to provide the personalized, coordinated care IVF requires without insurance restrictions. Upon request, we’re happy to provide paperwork (superbills) you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
Don't Leave Your Results to Chance
You're investing everything—money, time, hope—into this cycle. Your body needs to be ready. Not just medicated. Actually prepared to respond, to produce mature, high quality eggs, to support implantation.
You could hope it works. Or you could prepare your body properly and know you did everything possible.
We work with limited IVF patients per month to ensure proper protocol coordination. If you're starting a cycle soon, schedule your consultation now.
